Well as I've posted before, I'm addicted to the Cadwell Park circuit. Don't know if many of you use it much, but my best time so far with the PCC mod is:

1:26:141

After two laps the tyres seem shot!

Also done a 7:32 with the Group S Maxi on Tourist 'Ring. That was with a spin though

Getting better... slowly.

Anyone know of a good free video capture programme, so I can MPEG the replay?

Use the one inbuilt into rFactor. But change the output encoding type first.

Go into your PLR and change whatever the setting is in the line below to how it is here, as Divx

AVI compressor fourcc="divx" // Changes compression algorithm

Then just go to the Replay Fridge and click export, change the settings above to about 30fps, screen size (either 640 or 320 and the quality to 100. It'll save the lap off (set the view to TV camera first maybe) and it'll save it off into your ReplayFridge-movies folder. It'll still be big but you should be able to convert it to a smaller WMV later like I have here.

Or you could use FRAPS but that is a 30second time limited one for free, you have to pay for the full version.

Cadwell is a bit tricky with the Porsches (well the final corner is) lots of oversteer until you get the speed there right. It took me 12 laps to beat that time

Try it with CTDP's Formula One 2005 cars. yes

I've just exported the above PCC lap, as an AVI it was 139mb in size as a 640x400 video. I ran it through the Windows Media Encoder dropping the video frame rate encoding and audio and it's come out as an 11mb WMV. Download link below.

www.mercia.biz/rfactor/CadwellPCC.wmv <- right click "download as" don't stream it.

1 25 xx?

LOL RAPID. Nice one... if I'm honest the 1 26 141 I did was a bit of a fluke!

1m25.8s I use the "-" symbol as a point so it doesn't mess up the file structures

I tend to log all my laps on http://rfactor.gplrank.info/ create an account there then just download this useful util - www.dspsoftwaresystems.com/CCH2CareerBLT/RFactorCCH2CareerBLTVersion2.zip then run it chose any of your CCH files and it'll create a file called career.blt this is what you upload to rFactor rank to record all your times.

1 25 9x

Is my current best. Been racing on the 'Ring over the last few days so had neglected Cadwell. Went back to it tonight and two laps in, I did the above time.

Green Hell teaches you a lot

Best time on the 'Ring I've managed so far is a 7:54 with PCC. I think that's pretty poor as the record is 7:28 odd?

Although I really should be learning Toban for Sunday. I'm shat on that, since I've only done about 20 laps on it.

Current best is low 1 39s :/ I'm going to get schooled!
