Not played it for over a year and having great fun getting back into the swing of forza.
just waiting for No2 to come out

anyone playing it at the moment and can recommened a good car. I won and tuned a NSX, Skyline, and a scooby. just trying to get used to the lack of grip and spinning out to often. got it set to hard cars, and only ABS. so great fun

Ironic, I lost my copy some time ago to my mates lad, saw it in shop over weekend for £5.

Great game, shame I have to use my original AV cable as my VGA plug does not support PAL 50

Still great game, getting my appeitite for Forza2

Is this PAL50 problem with the AV cable an issue on all old Xbox games? I never had an original Xbox, but my mate has offered to lend me a load of his old games. I've only tried Halo2 so far and that was no go, as I can't be arsed to dig out the a/v cable.

Ok I only got a normal non LCD/plasma TV, but got my 360 hooked up on scart and no problems with the old xbox games

The Enzo is the most fun, over 1000bhp with a turbo stuck on driving

I also like the heavily tuned Exige - quicker than most Exotica!

Although lot of fun can be had with the vintage cars with modern engines stuck in - drifting heaven!

Think it may be mate. I have been using the a/v scart cable that came with the console. Haven't tried any other xbox games.

I've been playing it a lot recently as PGR3 hasn't got any depth and TDU is shit.

The framerate really drops when you've got a lot going on though - the top of the hill at Road Atlanta, for one, or going into the first corner of just about any circuit.

Forza II is sounding exciting - it should drop sometime this May, which isn't that far off, but it was supposed to be out last November. There's much better handicapping, and the developers are claiming that there will be more tracks as well as cars for download.

Best of all, I'm slated to review it for Ars Technica, so I won't have to shell out for it!

Now, I am a tolerant man, but there are parts of the internet where this could get you a fatwa!

No idea why I wrote a/v above, I am using a VGA cable, which is what appears to be the problem.

Cheesy trailer time - next gen Camaro in game, and series one Camaro in reality on trailer...

Looking forward to this one (now, if only they'd put in a Mk1 MR2 and a Griff - pretty sure they're already including a '69 Camaro - and my all fantasy garage would be present.

clicky thingy

That's just, like, your opinion, man.

Personally I found the concept great and it looked amazing, but the gameplay was just dire. There was almost no feedback between the controls and the way the cars were supposed to respond, unlike GT4, PGR3 or Forza. Even Ridge Racer felt more connected.

I agree - I can't get on with TDU at all - even with the MS Wheel. It's too disconnnected both in terms of feel and also "plot"/aim/direction.
