Picture the scene. I have a Xbox 360, it is in one corner of my lounge by the TV. I am sat here on my computer at the other end of the room under the stairs on the PC (and wall socket for Internet). The distance between the two is about 6/7 meters.

What do i need to get my Xbox live? One massive phone extension going from the TV to the PC.

Thanks

as it is broadband either
-use a network cable above skirting or under carpet from computer to TV. Plug this into network connection of PC (Assuming your using a USB Modem) and enable internet connection sharing on the pc. The xbox will work out that it is to a PC and connect that way, You will need the pc on when you use the xbox.
-same as above but get a wired router with modem built in and plug xbox into router.
- Get a wirless router to replace modem, by a wireless adapter for xbox (~£60) and connect via wireless, you can then put the xbox into any room, and if not careful could also alow little Johnney from next door to use your broadband!

Hope these help.
