Is my 360 overheating or is it XBlive?

The last couple of nights I've been on my 360, its crashed. Both occasions I've been in the transition period from Game Lobby to the Game. The first time was on PGR3, and then last night on GRAW. Both times the 360 sounded like it was doing a controlled shutdown, things clicking off in a sequence, but the console didn't turn off and the picture didn't change.

I've also noticed that I lose alot of server connections, both in the lobby and the game on PGR3, COD2 and GRAW. When I was setting Live up, it said my NAT (whatever that is) and that its probably due to my router not being XboxLive approved Could these be related?

My 360 never crashed before I set Live up, and so far its 2 in a week.

Any sugggestions?

When on pgr 3 lobby it is renowned for crashing... you should have recieved an update months ago, if thats not the case do not push the x button in a player lounge !
