Littlebigplanet - first PS3 title that looks any good?
Discussion
Looks like this is the first game for the PS3 that is actually looking any good, and making people sit up and take notice:

It's a co-op puzzle/platformer. Looks good fun.

I think I played MGS2 on the PS2 and remember really enjoying it, but splinter cell has taken the crown of softly-softly-catchy-monkey games for me. I might enjoy it again, but I'm not going to buy a whole new console to play it! When this littlebigplanet comes out the PS3 might even have dropped in price (sony are already gearing up their fab plants to produce the 65nm chips - intel are planning 45nm Cell-CPU fabs now!).
My pre-order dates back to May 12th last year though when Gamestation first put them up to order, they emailed me the other day to say it was going to be processed this week, I really can't be bothered to cancel it as I'll be buying one at some point this year anyway, the fact they'll be chucking in Casino Royale as a little incentive for the first 1/2 million people to register their console is nice, plus I'm sure the GT:HD demo will be mildly amusing for a bit.
Not really bothered about it at the moment though, could take it or leave it, nowhere near the amount of excitement there was for my 360 before it arrived. Home and Metal Gear are both very appealing though and it will probably sit there looking like a very expensive sandwich toaster until one or the other arrives.
