PS3 -- who's got one. and not an import
Discussion
well I was in a local game shop today had a chat with the nice guy behind the counter and he's just had his PS3 delivard.
I was not going to get one just yet but always seem to fall for the new toys when they come out. So I should have it tonight or tomorrow
fingers crossed
Also its my 30th next Saterday so was having some cash to spend in the US when on holiday the following week.
just a question. If I bought a UK PS3, when can I buy int he US that will work on the Uk machine?
cheers

My PS3 comes on the 23rd but my mum is being a gay and sending it back because I have my GCSEs soon. F*ck's sake.

I'm gonna wait a bit on PS3 & see how it looks. Also I need the cash for another car before shed MOT time in June...

sorry... but you'll thank her in the long run. Back in the old days I failed ALL my O'levels the first time as I was playing 'The Hobbit' on my Speccy when my parents thought I was revising.moreymach said:

Etch, serious question: Is it worth the money?
Honestly... I think £425 is a bit steep for a games console.
For a games console and a Blu-Ray player . . and a media hub . . and internet browser . . Its pretty good value.
It just depends if you wanted all those things in the first place.
I've no doubt I'm going to wring every penny or worth out of it over the next couple of years, so to me it was worth the money.

That was my justification too. I'm looking forward to it now!
thats wrong, its worth getting one. you can set up uk accounts on an american one also, its just een varified on one of the other forums i read. no point getting a uk one unless you like giving away your money. uses uk power without a step down, region free games, region free playstation shop only dvds and ps3 games have to be usa region...personaly i dont mind getting movies first and generaly cheaper do you?
