Check this story on gamespot, apparently some japanese Sony fanboys were so angry Devil May Cry 4 will be multiplatform, they decided to start a campaign against Capcom.

Whats up with these people? They have silly claims like they are turning their backs on a faithful company(Sony) blah blah, what a laugh!

The average ps1 game cost $1 million to mkae, the average ps2 game cost $6 million to make.
We don't know what the average cost for 360/PS3 is yet but one medium selling title was reported to be $20 million. A lot of games are going to be going multiplatform whether we like it or not.

Why would we not?

Multiplatform is good for the consumer. The only ones against it are the Console makers with a good 'exclusive' title.

Whilest I have nothing against multi-platform and there are lots of great multi-platform games. Many of the best games tend to be 1st party/ 2nd party exclusive titles which can fully take advantage of a specific platform. This comes from being designed from the ground up for a given platform and not being compromised by the differences of another. There are lots of multi-platform shovel ware

I love this, Capcom have turned their back on poor little Sony who have been so faithful and true to Capcom for all these years.

It's as if sony was a little kitten that needed all the love and protection that only a bunch of insane nerds could give.
