rFactor virgin/help?

Everyone tells me that I should be playing this and how fantastic it is. I have tried a couple of times to go to the home site and down load a demo but it says that its going to take 1 and 1/2 hours to do it.

Surely this can't be right?

Maybe its just me but the home page doesn't seem to give you many clues about how to get started.

Or am I just a dunce?

Any help gratefully recieved.

Front end of this game is a PAIN IN THE ASS !
I've had it for about 2 months, last week was the first time I actually raced against AI opponents, lol, it was me blasting around tracks before.

So your not the only one that doesn't get it.

Should be about 600mb ish for the download, so guess it depends how slow their or your server is.

I can see how a choice of 3 labelled buttons in a game can be difficult for some people




Anyway, click the download link for the game on the download page. Wait. It's the full game, the kind of thing that comes on a CD or DVD and they aren't small files. Then run the config to set the correct graphics settings for your machine, start it up, play with demo cars then if you want buy online a code to unlock the complete game.
