opensource Quake 3 = free games

Just finished downloading Urbanterror 4.0, a quality little game.

Ive been waiting for this for a while, and they released it yesterday

its a free, online FPS based on Quake 3. With the latest version, you dont need a Quake3 CD either, just download the opensource ioQuake.exe provided

its like Counter-Strike, but faster and more stylish (walljumps, ninja slides, much less spread on the weapons, more "Rambo" than "Rainbow 6"!)

WELL worth the 500mb download!

this really is an astonishing bit of bedroom programming - a bit like some engineers getting together to make a kitcar, and managing to knock up an Enzo.
