Laptop: Ive got an XPS, with a few of the upgrade options:
2.16 GhZ Dual Core
2048Mb Memory
512Mb Graphics Card
.. adds a fair bit to the price over the base spec though.
Handels every game I have tried very well, I max out pretty much everything in terms of the fancy graphic settings / options too. Very powerfull piece of kit.
Runs very quiet and cool. Sound through the inbuild speakers could be better though, but is OK.
oh.. and its got cool looking lights built in.

C2D 2Ghz, 2Gb and the 7500 GS... so 256Mb graphics? Meh. It still stonks over everything
Dunno about you, but I find mine damn heavy to haul around everywhere. I agree about the speakers but they are a lot better than some laptops I've had, especially with the sub going (if yours isn't check the sound properties... the drivers default to muted).

Not that good according to reviews on Hexus, at least since the Dell buy-out. They looked at the then new £3k base unit. Other than some nice plastics the machine was built from totally off the shelf components, not even 'best of the best' ones; verdit was £1.5k hell yes. £2k yes, £3k... no way.
