Forza 2 demo, thursday or friday,
Discussion
It's almost always been the same with any big release.
Feed the public with drips and drabs of info, promise/leak release dates, let them slip,
create loads of game playing junkies who are desperate for a fix.Free publicity
and a feeding frenzy effect is the result.
I gave up relying on release dates in the 80's for those reasons.
I just think "it will arrive when it arrives" no matter how much i am
looking forward to something.

Okay, everyone stop holding your breath for the demo this week. Official word from Che at Turn 10:
Sorry, there's no demo this Friday.
The demo is still going through the certification process so things are still up in the air.
Apologies all around for leaving you guys hanging. I know anticipation around this game and its demo is at an all-time high, but our (Turn 10's) hands are tied here.
Seriously, as soon as I know something, I'll make an announcement here.
Thanks.

Let's be realistic - the hardcore fans and vocal demo demanding net nerds who are baying for this demo have probably got had their "ultra ltd collectors throw in a couple of extra cars and a metal tin and charge a tenner more edition" on pre order since last year already so why should they rush the demo out to satisfy them?
By not releasing the demo til it's absoutely ready and they're happy with it, they are ensuring that the undecided/new to Forza customer gets the best possible experience of the game - ie making it more likely to shift more copies (the whole point of a demo).
No point rushing out a demo to appease those who have already made their minds up surely?

ing hell, I was only born half way through the 80's let alone giving up on release dates.
