Pipe cladding!
Discussion
Forza 2
I kept spinning the cars using the FF wheel (No sensitivity!) and was beginning to get a bit frustrated with it, especially as I could post much faster laptimes with the controller. So I got a small amount of pipe cladding, rolled into bits about 1 inch long and slightly differing thickness (both circa an inch as well) for behind the accelerator pedal (larger gap) and brake pedal.
Hey presto, the game is transformed! Braking and accelerating is much more progressive and both give decent resistance to the foot.
Now the game is een better and I can get smooth lines and really control the oversteer on the throttle (driiiiift!).
Now all I need to do is a bit of practice and I think I may be able to get some decent times (a 1.08 with the M3 straight out of the pipe gives me hope!
