Anybody played the demo on Xbox 360?


I had a quick play last night and thought it was pretty good. The graphics were nice, and it was quite a fun demo. Its an obvious first person shooter but then aren't they all?

Think it will be a bloody good game when it comes out.

Hm between Lost planet demo & Forza 2 my bandwidth for the month has gone, mebe next month...

Yup - I liked it, pity it was so short.

I'm looking forward to Army of two as well - I can see some serious Co-Op fun to be had with that game. Looks very amusing.

i thought it was awful...

a really old fashion FPS with no real depth or interest... oh theres an alien, shoot it, it dies, oooh, theres another one.

oh, i have to go around this car, how tricky, oh and look, another alien...

oh, and then the demos over... you can tell its gonna be a short sucky game!

Isn't that the exact same pretense for gears of war though? Or halo? Or any other FPS like it?

The graphics were good and I thought it played well. I thought the sound effects were excellent as well.

well, yes, same basic pretense - but I liked GoW as it took some strategy (hide behind things etc) I cant comment on Halo as I havent played the single player.. even Prey had a few original touches, this seemed to have none of it.

I just found it a very basic version of the FPS type game with no originality or anything to do other than empty a clip into an alien... and considering how short the demo was, I dont imagine the full game will be much better.
