Hi is there anyway to change your email address that is associated with my live account as i want to make it the same as my messenger account???(this was set up along time ago and would not take my hotmail address)

No you can't change it pal. You'll just have to add the people on the account you use to the xbox live account. You have to do this on a pc though.
