Has anyone installed one of these?

It's the official 120gb hdd, as I'm in the US for the next few weeks going to get one anyway, the elite is also availble here but is close on $500, and i'm guessing the region coding would mean I would need to play US purchased games?

whats the point? Us meagre euro's dont get the big downloads like they do in US, i dont think you'd ever fill up that much. 20gig is more than enough for me!

it does work, the hard drive isn't region coded however you will need a memory card to transfer your gamer profile from the old 20gb one to the new 120gb one.

the 360 elite is coded however, and apparently microsoft have been banning people using accounts that are geographically inaccurate to where they are (ie setting up a USA silver account on a UK console to get USA specific downloads) - that is a console ban too, so you wouldn't be able to use the elite on live at all. Most 360 games aren't region coded, however some are, and you would only be able to play region 1 USA dvd's
