To my eyes yes, you get the Force feedback of course, but for me it just makes the game more...complete?

I'm not sure if it makes me any faster but I think it gives me more control especially when putting power down in big power RWD vehicles. (I have slightly "modified" it by putting some pipe cladding behind the pedals to give them more resistance but that's it.)
