Hi there,

It seems Forza2 is defo the driving game of choice around here! I have heard nothing but great things about it from all over the place.

I do most of my gaming on my PC but have been tempted by an xbox360 for a while now. Forza is probably the deal clincher for me!

Only thing is I dont have an HD TV, just a boggy standard 42" plasma, is it even worth gettting a 360 without having an HD screen?

Cheers

Dave

On a non-HD screen it doesn't really look any better than Forza 1. You could always run it through your PC monitor with a VGA cable.

It's better than having no Forza that's for sure!

A friend ran his 360 on a small non-HD tv and it was fine, just wasn't brilliant that's all. Gameplay is still the same whatever.

HD makes a big difference really - it's because the resolution is high that the graphics at standard resolution (480p) look a little blurred. So on a racer like Forza, you might not be able to make out whats going on in the distance. Depends on how good your current TV is...

looks like I might have to splash out on a 360 tonight then!

Will let you know if I take the plunge! thanks for the advice.

One more quick Q, do you use the standard 360 controller or is everyone using a wheel of some description?

I use the wireless controller, mainly because I have nowhere to set up the wheel. It is fine, just lacks the finesse that I think the wheel would give - I tend to give binary inputs rather than smooth analogue!
