Is it me, or is arcade mode - exhibition race 14 at sebring insanely difficult?

No matter what car I choose, I can't stay ahead of the pack, it's like the difficulty has just been notched up by about 50 points. I was winning easily from 1-13, usually by a nice comfortable margin (10-15 seconds between me and 2nd place) but this one is kicking my arse for me...

nevermind, I've beaten it - and the ring and got my 75gp - used a class D acura (last in the line) and it romped it

the ring is quite easy, i use the gallardo (love it). I dislike sebring immensely, think i used something like the wings west civic for it

I haven't done any arcade races yet - do the prizes transfer to career mode, or are they only for use in Arcade? Is the handling dumbed down like in GT arcade mode?

prize cars in arcade are only open to you for use in arcade mode (and therefore also online multiplayer) And its worth 75 points for getting all golds, which doesnt take that long to do really
