Where to download rFactor
Discussion
I want to give rFactor a try, I've gone to the rFactor site and started downloading but at 688mb and 35kb/s it estimates over 5hrs to get this. Does anyone know of any torrents where I can download the installer without having to worry about losing my connection over a 5hr period.
Please note I only want trial version, if I like it I'll pay for the unlock code, so I don't want cracked versions.
Thanks.

Use something like Flashget (a download manager), then you can pause and resume at your convenience mate.
Any use?
But can I just say:
What are you expecting ?
If you only have a keyboard for it you are going to be thinking whats all the fuss about.
Get yourself a G25 (yes I could work for Logitech), and you'll be experiencing the FUSS !
Nothing else comes close.

Dunno much about rFactor so couldn't tell you if the demo is the real version just lacking the code. But if it is, then nowt stopping you going to Tortuga or elsewhere, seeing if a versions ia round and downloading that. Just don't apply the crack and voila demo copy.
Hypothetically of course.

I think I have found a torrent for this, it only has 1 seed and 2 peers so it's downloading quite slowly however it does mean that I don't need to install any additional software and from the description it all appears to be a genuine/official version of the game, ie no cracks etc...
The demo and full game are both the same, however you need an unlock code to get all the features of the game which will be sent when you pay for and register your software. I'd be willing to pay this if I find I want to use the game beyond the test drive.

I've had a look at the G25, this is a great looking wheel, the clips on YouTube make it look like it can be used to recreate a real driving experience.
Would the combination of G25 and rFactor help a novice such as myself learn more about proper driving techniques?
If it does than the RRP of £200 seems to be quite a cheap way to go about it, what's the insurance like?
