Forza Is Doing My Head In

I am starting to get very annoyed with Forza everytime I play it now it freezes at some point either in races or not, tonight it froze when I was on lap 22/25 on the A Class endurance race after 47 minutes just to now have to do it all again, also has a bizzare trat that often the cars have no wheels so all you can see is the brake discs but they still drive ok.

Anybody had these problem or similar with Forza 2

There's a thread for reporting these problems on forzamotorsport.net and they ask you to log details of your console. It's not clear if there is a systematic problem or not, but they are aware it's causing boxes to hang a lot. Mine hangs about once every 2 or 3 days. It's just hung now on the beginning of a race with a full grid. Really annoying.

Me too.

Since Forza was released it has not been out of the disk drive. Xbox starts freezing (normally when loading) a few weeks ago and I pressume its the noisy white box giving up the ghost.....time for a warranty claim.
Then tried a few other games and they have no problem at all so I'm sure its the disk.

Currently it freezes on startup when the microsoft logo appears...

Not had this problem myself, as a one off the disc stopped reading at the start of a race a couple of nights ago and the track gradually vanished as no more was being loaded to the console. However that's something my xbox does once in a while, claims the disc is dirty when it isn't.

Not had any freezing or crashing at all. Might just be luck of the draw.

I'm sure if it's a serious problem there will be a patch before long.

I'd reccomend taking the disc out and looking for scuffs - i get these quite often (happened on GOW too) and a good polish of the disc resolves the issue..

Which is handy, since an entire quarter of the ring dissapeared - a car and the scenery and nothing else... that was fun

I get the bottom left red light occasionally, just restart and its OK.

So have you done a warranty claim? I guess I should get mine sorted....

Mine freezes up when I'm in the lobby for an online race. Usually when I try and select another car to use but it's completely random!

done it again tonight tried the A Class Endurance 39 minutes into the bloody thing stops again.
