Well I just bought a Wii and most definitely won't be buying a PS3!!
Would be intersting to see what worldwide figures are like!

I wonder if it's because despite the stupid name, it appeals to a wider audience?

I think maybe the fact that it is genuinely new!
And people that have played mine were maybe a little sceptical before, but bloody loved it!
That and the cost of a PS3... HMV had a deal with a couple of blue-ray movies and a couple of games, £600!! Almost like they're doing you a favour

But in realistic terms, surely the cost is there...

was thinking that. my mums got the wii which is great and I got the PS3. Blueray anyone. and I have seen the posts from others saying " the PS3 is crap" they had both. I have and got ed off with my 360 going tits up so I did not bother to get the 360 sorted after just 18 months. But I will get back to you if the PS3 has problems.

I never know why there is the Xbox Vs P, Megadrive Vs Nintendo etc.. comments
Just buy both and enjoy what they both have to offer.

It's not like "my dad is bigger then your dad"

So is EA's rockband, which I think will be a fair bit better than guitar hero, the makers of Guitar Hero 1 & 2 are making it, imagine guitar hero but with drums and vocals too.

Think is i keep hearing about this Forza malarki on here and it makes me want to get involved .... still i dont have enought time as it is and by the sound of it i would be living on Forza if i got it

There is every chance of that, especially if you have no friends and attempt to play all the parts yourself like some sort of electronic one man band.

Back on topic, i'd be interested to see global sales of all three consoles as this one seems to concentrate on japan and the wii is just the sort of thing they go crazy for.

I've just got a ps3 and got to say despite all the bashing it gets on here i'm very pleased with it. Got Motorstorm and Resistance and enjoying them both loads.

Im still playing GTA-SA on the ps2, when GTA4 comes out i'll try it on the 360 and the ps3 and make my mind up then...

I think sony missed a trick not getting gta4 exclusive,if it was there would be no contest
