OK, so the question is where do I spend my next wad of notes, as I've currently got:-

The Darkness (will be complete this evening all going well)
GoW (complete)
Forza 2 (complete)
Rainbow 6 Vegas (complete)
Crackdown (complete)
PGR3 (complete)
Need For Speed Carbon (almost complete main game - but very bored with it now)
Call of Duty 3 (lasted 2 days before it went to the shelf of non-playingness)
Pro Evo 6 (won all the cups - boooooring, if it didn't come free with the 360 package I would never have bought it)
G.R.A.W. (Played it twice at the most, bored the pants off me)
Splinter Cell Double Agent (didn't last more than an hour)
Test Drive Unlimited (as SC-DA, didn't last more than an hour in my 360 before I got bored with it)

So, you can see the sort of stuff that I like to play and what really bored the crap out of me - the surprising one for me is that I actually liked RS-Vegas as I hated the GRAW/SC-DA/COD3 really quickly...

I had lone wolf for the original xbox and loved that to bits, so I'm considering Lost Planet as it seems to be at least semi similar in the structure of the game...

So any suggestions from you lot?

hmmm...

Prey? One of the first games i had for the 360 - not great, but looks okay, pretty much a standard FPS with a gravity twist, plus the spirit walk/cant die feature..

Bullet Witch - not played, just thought it fit with what you like?

Burnout Revenge? Arcade racer for a laugh..?

You said you hadnt played condemened? its not great - but IIRC i got it for 15 quid delivered from Play, and traded it in for... 15 quid... so from that respect its good value wink but the storyline lasts a while, though the fight interface is annoying, and as we said in the other thread, the atmosphere is great, though gameplay linear and repetative - about an hour in you'll notice the same tricks being used to try and scare you... but worth a play at the price.

I was thinking Lost Planet and PREY myself (couldn't remember it's name earlier), I'll see what sort of prices the local shops out here have them for as well as Bullet Witch and Condemned, I remember they were going Saints Row for 25 yoyo's, anyone played that?

I played the demo and found it a poor GTA clone...

Yeah, Prey's worthwhile - probably a touch longer than GoW for the single player game, some puzzle solving required, but mainly a doom-style FPS..

Don't get lost planet, utter tosh! Very very repetitive, I had it for a week and got shot of it.

Try Dead Rising, that's a good laugh and also cheap now I think.

My brother has been raving about call of Juarez, although he finished it pretty quickly.

Older game to try would be FEAR that was a good game and not too short either.

It's like playing the first few missions of GTA on ground hog day. It just doesn't seem to go anywhere.

Seconded, not done any of the multi player yet, but single player is quite addictive and lots of fun.

If you want something completely different and very addictive, try Viva Pinata. I got it on rental and at first I thought I'd hate it because of the cartoony graphics but the more I played, the more I got hooked. Highly recommended.
