Got my Flight Sim X & control yokes etc. Pi$$ boiler
Discussion
OK, thanks to some one here I've got my FSX and control yokes. Now for a typical rant about microsoft - where's the Piper PA28? It's included but you can't f'ing fly it as it's a scenery plane only.
So i downloaded one and installed that which is great but there's some flying realism missing such as not having to compensate with right rudder on take off etc.
Other than that all good.

i haven't got FSX but i think in FS9 you can turn some of the realism settings off, so it might be that this has been disabled, failing that it may just be the model doesn't have gyro effect (that's right isn't it?) enabled.
Have a look at the just flight website as they have a whole range of aircraft (payware though) then go to Play.com and get it cheaper.
Also try AV sim ( http://library.avsim.net/ ) you have to register but it has a good range of free add ons.
good luck

I'm guessing it's the way the plane was designed. Thanks for the link - invaluable :O)
fwiw, i've just started a PPL as I'm living in the channel islands I've downloaded the islands so that I can learn their relative positions. I've already landed in Cheurboug thinking I was in Guernsey
