Is Guitar Hero 2 on the 360 as great as it looks

I aint no musician but it must be said this game from what I have seen looks awesome. I normally just plod along on the racing games so this is totally different. I am trying to justify £65 and I just need some convincing. Her indoors thinks I am a big kid so no problems there.

In a word: Yes!

It's awesome, GH3 is out in September/October though and comes with a wireless guitar, so there is nothing to trip over when you're rawking out. Then there is Rock Band which is out in November/December and comes with an even better wireless guitar and will allow you to play alongside a drummer, bassist and singer (providing you buy the additional equipment) and looks like it could be the greatest musical game ever made.

Although if you have a PS2 it's much better value to buy it on that console, you should be able to pick up GH1, GH2 and the guitar for £60.

Look around, I got GH II for my 360 for £59 at PCWorld.

Much fun especially if like me you grew up listening to the older tunes

No no.. i love all these music games.. i tried guitar freaks ages ago but just never got used to it.. and i was to scared to try drum mania..
