How do you play yours!

Being inspired by the bods on the AV Forum website and their epic home setups and having just finished renovating my lounge, I thought it would be fun to have a thread dedicated to our home cinema/gaming setups. A show and tell you could say!

Though my cunning plan is flawed in that I am at work and can't upload any pics(!)

Anybody skiving from work at the mo and wanna kick off?

Mine's a bit haphazzard..



42" Plasma (has a very cool remote rotating base ), Sony surround system, DVD player, DVD/HDD recorder, and, a VCR at least 10 years old...

Not forgetting the 360 and Wii of course

i've got my xbox 360 hooked up to a 42" lcd, with a 5.1 surround, nothing overly special but looks great when playing, sounds good too, but only when the oh isnt around as it can't be too loud hehe. Not really displaying my PRIDE behaviours posting during work hours though, must get on

I'd never get to play mine if the 360 was hooked up to the main TV in the living room, so until recently it lived with my old 28" CRT in one of the spare bedrooms.

I finally replaced it with a new 23" LCD HD TV earlier this week, so it has now moved into the "office" where the TV will do double duty as PC monitor and games TV.

Sony PS2 (no PS3 yet, I'll wait till theres some decent games and its cheaper!)

Sky+ Box full of bog brother (dont ask)
Leather corner sofa and chair for maximum comfort!!

I've got 2 setups:

PC/XBox 360/PS2 connected to Samsung 36" LCD
5.1 Surround system
5.1 Headphones

PS3 connected to Panasonic 42" plasma

I like to hook my Commodore VIC-20 up to our TV when I get home and play some classic 'VIC Men' or 'Space Invaders', of course this is after waiting ten minutes for it to load up from the cassette.

Still good fun though.

I've got Wharfdale Diamonds as well. Only a front set, but they are floorstanders! I have to take the covers off if I want loudness as they shake the hell out of them otherwise!

I'll take a picture and upload in a sec, its only in my bedroom though.
