Team PH - Forza driving standards

Now that the inital excitement has worn off with Forza and PHers drift back to GoW etc., it's been interesting to play online against other 'jo public' Forza drivers.

What's struck me most is just how GOOD the PH community are as a whole. Now, I can usually get some pretty decent results in PH races, but playing against the 'public', I realise just how tough the PH competition is. Last night for example, I played in several lobbys against a diverse mix of drivers (mostly brits of, I'd guess, a similar age) but I absolutely creamed the lot of them. Literally 3-5 secs quicker a lap in most races including several convincing wins at the Ring where I usually suck like a Dyson.

So big up the PH Forza racers - you're better than you think!

I agree, I propped into a random online race last time I played and found a similar thing. I was so much faster than the field that I lapped the last 2 runners by the end of an 8 lap race. And that was all in standard F430's.

I then got accused of cheating....

I've actually not played anyone except the PH crew online.

However, with PGR3 we had a fairly tight group of us play. And I was rubbish. Then I played online againist random idiots and just drove rings round them.

However, whenever I've played GoW online against random people, I've always been slaughtered...

Me neither. Except once very briefly against one of my old pals from PGR2 who I used to play regularly. He kicked my arse. But he always was very good.

The main reason I hav'nt bothered to play randoms is that I can't be arsed to search around for a decent clean game.

I agree exactly. When my XBOX was working whilst waiting for PH races one night I did some public races, the room organiser was out in front and i waited for an oportunity to go past on the straight, as I pulled level he drove into me!! both came off I was left in front at the next corner he didn't brake and took me out of the race!!

Had similar things happen a few times.

Yup, happened to me just the same last night. Got punted at first corner, got from last to second, got deliberately rammed off into the wall. Then caught leaders again, same thing happened.

Lap times shows I was 5 secs a lap quicker. Rather frustrating, but i put it down to pre-pubescent kids playing with no skill
