GOW Multiplayer Starter Pack

Hey All,

I realise that everyone has played, mastered and probably moved on from GOW Online but I've, for some reason, only just started to play online.

Although I seem to be getting better I still can figure out how I get maimed so much quicker that everyone else. Has anyone got any advice they can divulge?

IE. Which body part is best to aim for? Legs to down them? Head? Body for shotgun?

Oh and what's this I keep hearing people say about glitching? Weapon slide or something? is it giving people a massive advantage?

I know you'll all have your own secret tactics but 'I KNOW NUUUUTHING'.

Add me onto your friends list (GI Jnr) and I'll invite you in. We normally have a PH room going from 9pm.

To summarise:

Headshots are the future
Glitching is bad (cheating n stuff)
Active reloads are also the future
Knowing the weapon balance is also a good thing

and it just takes practice. It really helps when you're playing with people you "know" as it's less aggressive and intimidating.

As least in the PH room, it's harmless banter. I'm sure the rest of the motley crew will be alone in a bit to share their views.

BTW, can you see what you overall stats are from ranked matches, to work out how far you have got with you achievements?

No sweat. The fun normally starts from 9pm though.

With ranked matches, you can't get invited into specific rooms as Live "pits" you against like skilled players.

You also can't have friendly fire on and so it takes out the team killing element as well. So we just host public matches.

I'm also not aware that there's a way for you to view your ongoing stats. But I could well be wrong.

I was a in a similar boat to the two of your a month or so ago, now I'm one of the regulars I guess (I can kill poeple and everyfing like ).

Just be sure that you don't mind being called a steaming great gayer whenever you get a kill or be killed, or just move, or when you appear in the lobby, pretty much at any moment.... get past that and you will be fine

I've only been in the PH G-O-W nightly circle-jerk for a week or two. My speciality is getting royally ed by all and sundry

Although I have my moments....especially when host.
