It's very good, but really really easy and short. I've played it a couple of times over the weekend and I'm half way through the second to last mission, so can't be more than 5 hours gameplay in total there, which is a shame.
Good, I might have a chance at finishing it then, the only other shooter i've finished is call of duty, I suck at shooters

I've rented it because i have nothing else to do this weekend
stuck on the first mission, seem to get killed cos i lose my fellow soldiers every time! i blew up 2 of the guns... do i have to do them all again? i really dunno where i'm even meant to go! fun game though.

Hmm, finished it last night, mostly OK but not that impressed - compared to the last Call Of Duty game it just feels small and confined and unfair - at the end they even start rolling out these ridiculous armoured super-nazis to make sure it gets difficult, which smacks too much of Return To Castle Wolfenstein to be anything near realistic. And the usual MoH problem of psychic enemies that all turn to face you the moment you peep out from cover - when will they realise that this is NOT FUN
And despite being in the middle of a 20 person firefight, all the Germans somehow manage to aim just at me where I am crouched on a rooftop a mile away, completely ignoring all the allied soldiers running right past them.
I enjoyed the outdoor assault mission to take out the bunkers overlooking the beach, but some of the other levels are a bit too Unreal-esque, if that makes sense, especially the last mission when inside the flack tower.
I think I'll buy the next CoD game, despite it being a modern setting - hopefully it will have more lifespan.
Overall, 3/10.

Yeah that's anoying when you find a nice spot to snipe from, but evey German soldier spots you right away, COD felt more realistic(as far as I know).

Still quite fun though

Am halfway through the the last level now.
Hardly memorable, but it's a decent enough way to kill a few hours. I like how you can choose what weapons to load prior to every level, which gives it an element of control that not every shooter has, and the "freedom" to parachute anywhere you want gives you a sense of control too.
At least it doesn't make me cower in a corner like Bioshock (which though I have owned for 2 weeks now, and though I have ample free time on my hands, I am probably only 15% of the way through!).
