This may have been on here already and if it has please accept my apologies. The 'Search' facility on the site's not working at this time.

If you have a car that has the option for two different engine transplants (Pontiac GTO for example) then you can make some credits. (21600 on this car each time)

Buy and install the middle engine and fit it to your car.

Then select the original engine and reinstall it (you still own the middle engine).

Then pull the right trigger and click the green A button on your controller immediately.

The 'bug' will automatically move you onto the most expensive engine, but the screen will ask you if you want to install the street (original) engine.

Click the green A button.

You will now have the expensive (right hand one on screen) engine installed and own the middle and original engines.

Now (having not paid for the expensive engine option) press the blue X button to sell it. On the Pontiac GTO you'll make 21600 credits each time you do it.

After 5 mins I had another 300,000 credits in the bank! Certainly good for people who've not been far through the game yet!

This does not affect you Xbox live account but will I'm sure have a bug fix sent out about it soon so make the most of it.

Enjoy, and by all means send me cool custom cars you've painted up, now you've got free credits available to use thanks to this cheat! biggrin

There is actually a variation on this glitch that makes you far more money for less time.

Very similar to the above, find a car with a at least 2 upgrade drivetrains and buy the second one. Whilst highlighting the fitted upgraded drive train hit the right tirgger and X (remove and sell) at the same time. The game will jump you to the really expensive drivetrain (that you dont own) and at the same time ask you if you want to sell the one you have fitted.
Say yes and you will actually sell the one you don't own, leaving your purchased upgrade in place.

The best bit is though despite the figure it tells you for the sale it will actually give you credit equal to the "buy" price of the top drive train.

Using the 1970 Chevelle....

But the second drive train for 28800
Whilst highlighting this engine Right trigger and X together
"Do you wish to sell for 14400?"
Say yes
Your bank is then credited with 43800, which is the purchase price of the top powertrain upgrade.

smile

Very simple glitch really and works on every single car with an engine upgrades available. The Chevy's have the highest profit margin I believe.

Ps. I have tested this and it does work, however I still have 20million for auction sales so not using it myself.

I cant see why anyone would need to cheat to make money on Forza 2?

I managed to complete the game and get all the cars with no real issues (though once i got there I was a touch skint - but easily solved by selling some of the 300-odd cars i had..)

I agree with you, but some people I know have spent their money in silly ways and got very stuck for large periods of time, so this little trick could help people in those situations I guess?

Indeed yes, if you go fully modding everything you win then you need a cash injection on a regular basis biggrin

The latest update just removed this cheat. The icon still jumps across but when it doesn't credit any money to you.

So annoyed. I don't play the game regularly enough to warrant all the time it takes to get the dosh.

I tried removing the update and starting the game, but it said that my save profile needs the download, and wouldn't let me get into the game without it!!!

When was the last update put out?

As if it was in the last week then I won't be connecting to live until I make enough quick cash to get the few remaining cars I didn't hold onto after hitting level 50 shortly after picking the game up - I just can't be bothered to go play another 10-20 endurance races to acquire the necessary cash to re-buy cars I already had at one stage to unlock one or two of the final achievements I didn't bother getting... wink

Don't download the last update. I'm so pissed that I did it, now theres nothing I can do. Can you do it loads of times and buy a car off me for stupid credits so I can have some money?

Pretty please?

I havent played Forza since before the update launched so before I next play it I will try and fire it up sanse internet connection and 'earn' some more money. Then I'm sure we can sort out a bit of a sale.

It doesn't let you which is the most rediculous thing, says the profile needs the update.

hehe I don't know how you could lose money. If you did the cheat right, after the update, you shouldn't lose a thing.

Erm, I assume you mean the cache clear? Yes I tried it and it said that the game save profile needed the update to play.
