Crysis beta demo

I see the beta version is out on fileplanet (although you have to be a member of fileplanet to download it).

The first 3 sets of keys have now been dispensed with the last set still to be released.

They have just started allowing access to get the last beta copy. You have to use fileplanet so you can get a key.

Ok after playing it for an hour, here are the things I like and dislike;

Likes
- The weapon upgrade system (points are awarded for kills/capturing posts)
- The graphics are simply stunning and the best I have ever come across

Dislikes
- On the big maps it's difficult to find anyone to kill as the maps are simply huge
- I haven't found the game to be fun like the BF series

I'd suggest that the dislikes would easily be addressed once the servers are flooded with players!

I've played it for about an hour, and first impressions tally with Lee's. I need to play for longer, as I haven't got used to the controls yet.

The graphics are awesome, but my pc struggles a bit* with stutters and lag, which takes the fun out of it.

• Pentium 4 3.4GHz single core, 2GB RAM, X1950 GPU.

And the 1 minute re-spawn time is a PITA, especially when you are trying to learn the game.
