I'd buy probably the Muira, Hemi, and GT3.

They'll probably bundle them all together though. In which case I doubt I'd bother.

No news on more tracks?

if you read the transcript, tracks are coming, tracks take 3-5 months to develop, and they started work on them the same time as they started the nissan DLC pack.

It also says the pack will be 400ms points, so i doubt you'll be able to buy them separately.

Muscle cars are crap

I hate how in car games the "New" cars always seem to be a newer model of an existing model or a different model.

Take all the skylines/evos for example, all pretty much the same but they count them as individual cars.

I want them to release something a bit different before i part with my 'mspoints'. not sure what though...

But there is only 2 muscle cars int he whole pack and no skylines/evos??

I would say it will be worth the punt for this little lot...

I'm looking forward to the muscle cars and the classics, mostly.

I find them much more involving than the modern stuff. Most of my competitive A, B and S cars are a case of tipping it into the corner, then getting on the throttle and going.

The muscle cars are more a case of nose it gently into the corner without the big block engine dragging everything into the wall, try and get the car settled on its gelatinous, rolling-sea damping, then finally attempting to achieve some compromise between accelerating, and having the rear end of the car still responding to signals from Earth.

I think I'll probably get it, there's enough there to interest me.

New tracks will definitely be good news, though. Le Mans would be good with all the prototypes, although I prefer the older version without chicanes.

Some more short circuits would be good for multiplayer, too. Brands Indy would be fantastic.

Although sitting on the limiter for five minuites could be a bit tedious

Nothing, nothing in a racing game comes close to a Gran Turismo 3/4, "5 laps on the test track in a car that only does 150mph" event. Especially when, on the last corner of the last lap, AI #2 gets a speed on and punts you off.

Mulsanne is slightly better because it's bumpy, narrow, and at some point you're going to have to brake a lot. It might be interesting to see how you'd get on with a speedway special, as there is possibly enough track where you can go very fast in a straight line to offset struggling through the slow bits on tiny throttle openings.

I agree that a D class, <200bhp race might be a bit of a drag. smile

The GT3 RS is just superb. I set a 7.50 at the ring with no mods other than setting the tyre pressure to 29 psi all round.
