Halo 3 campaign complete

yes, but if you dont 'save and exit' when entering an online game or switching off you do lose the game (happened to me too)
I have just finished it (have posted a Q in a seperate thread) - not sure how long it took - longer than Bioshock i think - I did it on normal (really struggled at the start with Heroic) and took longer than the 6 hours someone reckoned - though I suppose if you ran through it all blasting you might be able to do it at that..
I think level 5 - the old ship looking for the computer lass was the longest, and the hardest.

Take it all slowly, they don't spawn infinitely, so you just have to be cautious and take them out one at a time, edging into each room until you can comfortably get through it, some of the bigger rooms I just did some running and took down any of them who got in the way with the sword. Sword is probably the best weapon against the bigger flood, doesn't lose as much of it's charge as it does fighting the covenant (so you get a lot more use out of it) and you can take down even the biggest ones with one swipe, where you might empty 2 mags into one and still not kill it.
Finished it on normal last night.
Flood ship took forever, mix of wait and see round corners with stand off weapons, and running like a loony, as they seem to have the ability to lose your trail on a straight path.
Beginning of the tower, gravity hammer, and standing just a little behind the unbreakable Elite

Is it me or is it a Bungie tradition to make the last level a but crap? I've really enjoyed all 3 games but the driving against the clock of the first game, killing the guys on that platform in the second and the seemingly endless tunnels of the third seemed a bit weak compared to the rest of the games. That said I quite enjoyed the Warthog bit right at the end of 3!
Great games, crap endings!

Actually, level 8 took nearly as long as the rest of the game put together for me - don't forget to wait until after the credits are complete!
