hi there,

i have the bt and use a voyager modem to run my xbox live, now my brother also wants a xbox and wants to run live aswell, now if he gets another voyager modem and connects it to the line will it reduce our connection speeds and make them slow?

someone help please

You'll need seperate phone lines. 1 phone line = 1 modem.

Yep, or get a router and fiddle with the IP addresses as you might get conflicts on XBox live if you have 2 XBoxes coming from the same IP address.

I have 2 360's with live working fine on the same network, if you have any trouble setting up, give me a shout. smile

What is it you do exactly then Scorp, keep hearing mention of all these consoles at work and you're a software director, but wondering what the company does.

a know when i have a sporadic ip address, well think that what its called and it always changes does this make any difference?

Shouldn't make a difference, unless your IP address changes in mid-session biggrin
