Problems with co-op Halo

I have tried on a couple of occasions to play the game in co-op mode with a friend but both times we suffered from extreem jerky movement where even the cut scenes juddered along, making it unplayable.
Has anyone else had this issue as I cant beleive they would of put graphics infront of playability, currently its like playing a game on a pc that is below the min spec!

Strange one, sounds like internet connection issues, which one of you has the better connection??

They should be the party leader. i.e. master chief

Are there any torrents running on PC's anything else that may be bogging down the connection??

I play co-op with 2 on local and 2 on live, it runs like a dream.
