Finally got a PS3 !... What games to get???

So I finally did it... I went and got myself a siny new PS3, with a few of games - Resistance Fall of Man, Heavenly Sword and Motorstorm.

My question is, what other games do you guys/girls rate & recommend? - I need to grow my games collection for the PS3!

Open to all suggestions / genres, so let me have your recommendations...

Id recomend Warhawk, £20 to download off the PS store or £35 for the disk with a bundled bluetooth headset. Its an online only arcade war em up with tanks, jeeps, planes and gun emplacements. Its really good fun and at £20 for the download good value for money too.

Ratchet and Clank is out in 2 weeks if your into that type of game. (demo is on the PS store) its been getting great reviews with some claiming best PS3 game so far.

Others worth a look between now and christmas.

Assasins creed 16th nov
Haze 23rd nov
Uncharted Drakes fortune nov (really like the look of this)

Heavenly Sword is worth a shout, the nephews love Marvel Alliance. Just had Ratchet and Clank shipped from US. For both HS and R&C demos are available.

Looking forward to Ferrari Challenge, and Uncharted in the coming weeks.

Oblivion is good too. Not a PS3 only title but nonetheless it's bloody good.

Warhawk as Hodgy said is also great & can be extremely addictive.

Thirded for Warhawk, it is extremely addictive!! You can use planes, tanks, jeeps with machineguns on the back, surface to air missile and anti aircraft turrets, plus the usual array of handheld weapons.

If you haven't done already, set up US, Japan, and Hong Kong PSN accounts (in addition to your main UK account), then download the GT5: Prologue demo from the Japan store.



Other games that are worth looking at; PES 2008 (out today ), FIFA08, Skate.

tom clancys ghost recon advanced warfighter and rainbow six vegas are my faves at the moment, lookin foreward to haze and grand theft coming out as well

Warhark for definite. im addicted to it.

download the GT hd concept and when its on UK version, the GT5 prologue game.

tekken 5 is free to download also.

ive played and completed resistence:fall of man. great game. over a bit to quick though.

ive lost interest in motorstorm since the GT demo's came out. although the sound track for it is awesome.

Dirt is also a good game. plus there's a demo in the PSN.

more relistic than SEGA.

Also worth getting a JAP account and downloading the GT5P demo. from the jap PSN.
