In this patch:

  • Bathurst track fixes & improvements
- New AIW file with fixes and enhancements
- AI setup with low wing setting
- Added ambient sounds around track
- Tweaked a number of textures
- Remapped tyre skid overlays
- Added distant low LOD mountain (visible with Maximum detail setting)
- Added people to empty grandstands
- Fixed numerous 'Z fighting' artifacts
- Outside of T1 remodelled
- Sector markers moved to correct spots
- Other small fixes and tweaks

  • Physics fixes & improvements
- tweaks to tyre heating and wear
- improvement in stability and handling
- low ride height exploit addressed
- tweaks to pit stop times
- tweaks to damage
- previous garage setups should not be used

  • AI fixes & improvements
- instability issues addressed
- extensive changes to AI parameters providing much improved race behaviour
- talent files reworked
- AI startline performance brought back to human levels

  • Custom add on season (AOS) file ready for user editing
- File can be found in the RFM folder and edited without causing online mismatches

  • Added missing sounds
- start horns
- pit horn
- multiplayer race session announcement

  • New skins
- addon skins for DJR, FPR, TBE and WPSR teams

  • Cars
- tweaks to LOD distances for smoother detail transitions (higher detail on Max setting and better performance on Medium and Low)

Just tried the patch at Bathurst (with the better separately downloaded SLN textures) and it works brilliantly, better FPS too not only in car (I'm seeing 80fps now rather than 65 and that is running 4xAA with all graphics on max except shadow blur (which can be a big FPS hit). And similar FPS for outside TV camera replay views.
