Ah - a bit pricey though!

I've just got one from Comet, went in on the off chance and they had 2 in.
Got a bundle with 2 games and sports pack for £260!

Pretty lucky really!

Have a flick through this:rolleyes

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.htm...

It seems to appear that Amazon Germany 'WERE' delivering them to the UK up to this week.
That is until Nintendo had a word with them and all shipping to the UK has now been stopped...

Maddness in't it!

Luckily I've got mine now - by complete fluke!

But I seem to recall from that thread someone mentioning Ninendo releasing quite a lot onto the market in a few weeks time!

yes it is

I would of thought Nintendo need to be very carefull in telling people in Germany not to sell them to the UK that must be a real nono as far as EU law

Talking to a bloke in town about an hour ago. He couldn't find one except in a second hand place. A second hand Wii, no box, one controller, no games was commanding more than 300 quid....

It's all well and good wanting one, but there is nothing worth playing on them. I was given one a present in September and to be honest it's never turned on. The 360 gets all the game time...

Have to agree so far. Apart from downloading old SNES and Megadrive games I've largely lost interest in the Wii except for the occasional go on Wii Sports with friends when over at mine. However Meteroid Prime, Super Mario Galaxy and the forthcoming Mario Kart will likely change that for me. Nintendo never seem to have been about an excessive library of games, just about having a dozen must-have (for me) games on their systems.

Virgin or Zavvi as they are now known have upped their price to £245! Had mine for a few months now but it gets played around once a month by me and my bros, we usually play the 360 most of the time.

Thinking of selling it, funny this is that the trade in price is more then I paid for it!

Yeah Marki, I've already been sent about half a dozen emails from friends in the UK to pick up a wii here in Germany and send it to them, 249 euro's for wii sports at any of the big electronic stores here smile
