Xbox 360 controller sync woes
Discussion
A few months ago my main Xbox controller (one being labelled) died from lack of battery power. Fair enough, and since then, I got one of them rechargable battery pack things.
However, the controller still loses its connection to the console, with the ring of lights constantly flashing in a circling manner.
Question is, do I have to buy a charger for the unit? I briefly skimmed the instructions bit and threw it away, and in talking to fellow owners, they didn't say I have to charge the unit.
What gives?

I think perhaps you need to "link" the controller to the xbox.
Switch xbox on, then when the box has got to the dashborad, switch controller on, press the small button on the front of the box(if laid flat, middle under the right hand corner of disk tray) , then the small button on the controller (its the one on the front face by the battery).
