Didn't realise until this week that there is still a shortage of Wiis. I knew there was last Christmas, but assumed that the situation had been resolved over the last 11 months.

Anyone know if I'm likely to be able to get one of these for Christmas? Any chance of ordering one and getting it in time? If so, where from?

I'm not keen on paying a premium (or risking paying someone I don't know) on ebay.

Thanks in advance,
Shentodj

As Marki says above, they're in abundance over here in continental Europe (going by convo's I've had with workmates they don't seem to have been too popular over here in Germany at least) so the shops have plenty...

I was in last week to pick up 3 for people back home in Scotland/Ireland that are desperate for them (as they've people who will sit in the corner crying till March if Santa doesn't bring them one) - 249 euro each for the wii sports pack...

I think they're £329 inc VAT at overclockers UK.
I couldn't en believe it, absolute cheek! mad
Not that I want one (I already have one smile) just made me mad that they were charging that because they know parents will pay it if little Jimmy wants it...

my little local game shop has still got these. I don't think they have ever gone out of stock there

Game stores have also been getting them in, but you need to get in quick. Call your local shop and ask them when they're expecting a delivery. When one is due you can get in and reserve one and collect it when their delivery is due.

Or use one of those website links from above.
