Where are all the 60gb PS3?

Currently looking for a PS3 with 60gb hard drive but can't find any. Does anyone know where they are?

Production of the 60GB has stopped. Judging by a few threads around at the moment, they are selling out, with many places only left with the 40GB models. I suggest you have a trawl on the net and around ALL your local shops (including department stores, etc), and count yourself lucky if you find one.

The 60Gb is £350 (tho there a lot of bundles and deals about)

I've been considering jacking in my 360 for a ps3 (no reason other than to have something new!) but the lack of wi-fi on the 40gb version is putting me off. I didn't realise the 60gb wasn't being made anymore - think that idea is firmly knocked on the head now.

I didnt realise there was no wi-fi in the 40gb one either oh well good excuse not to bother.. that and the delay in GTA4

Don't know where this is comming from but there IS wi-fi on the 40GB model.

It was the 20GB lanuch model that was released in Japan and the US (not Europe) which had no wi-fi.

Yeah, I did some digging after my post above. There IS wifi on the 40gb but for some reason there is a wide spread belief that there isn't.

Ah so there is wi-fi thats good, I was concerned about the lack of backwards compatibility but then I've been told its not that much cop on the 60 gb anyway, has anyone tried the GTA series on a ps3?

That's what I have heard as well, even on the 60gb version it's software emulation as opposed to hardware. Apparently it can be a bit hit or miss.

Still don't think there is any good games out for the PS3 yet either, none that make me want to get a PS3.

Thank God. I'm getting a PS3 after xmas and 40GB will probably be the only option then and if it had no wi-fi, i would seriously re-think.

Apparently it is sony's own blunder - when they released the specs of the 40gb they did a cut'n'paste job from the model with the 20gb hard disk.

The 40GB has definitely got wifi!
