Turned my 360 on last night and it's not connecting to live noo!

Seems like the network adapter is fubar as the light on the network switch flashes briefly when the console is turned on then turns off again with the troubleshooter saying it's disconnected. Tried 3 cables on the damn thing and nothing frown

Looks like it's back to PC gaming and hoping MS will sort it out for me.

Try giving it a fixed IP address. Say if your network is 192.168.1.* then assign it to some random number (e.g. 192.168.1.100) then from your pc try pinging it. If it replies, the network adaptor is ok. Sometimes i have problems if one of my routers goes crazy and it requires rebooting the router while the 360 is turned off.

Tried that and nothing. The light on the switch only flickers on boot but then stays off. Tried various cables, two switches and nothing at all.

Since the update i've had a few issues getting onto live, but a connection test sorts it.
