Is Xbox Live meant to be fixed now ?

Only reason I ask, is that my dashboard still won't load up, just tries for a while and then tells me I need to connect to Live (although I already am).

If there is the odd time it will load the dashboard, I can access none of the download areas on the blade.

It also takes an age to show my friends details and if I try to send one of them a message, I may as well go and put the kettle on whilst I wait for it to send

I am aware of all the holiday issues, but from what I am readong, they are being talked about in past tense now ?

im not sure if things are sorted or not, i think there are still some issues with it but hasnt been as bad the last couple of days, i think MS will release some kind of state ment once everythings back to normal

Not used it for any length of time for a while but was playing Forza 2 for the first time in ages last night and it was fine.
Must have been on for 4 hours or so i would think and everyone had a trouble free night.

No trouble last night for me in COD4, but there was a lot of people in the playlists so could cause a few issues.

Once the new people get a little bored of playing with their new christmas pressies I'm sure things will improve.

There are rumours that it's under attack, which seems unlikely. I think it's just new subscribers. I note it gets worse when the US comes online.

Live was fine for me last night up until about 8.30 ish when it went downhill. By 8.55 I was still unable to get into a game so quit trying and went and watched gladiator on channel 4

Well, my dashboard loaded for the first time in a long time last night, but, when trying to look at "new arrivals" for demos/videos, it crapped out again and said there was nothing

Not yet. Tempted, but still getting loads out of Halo 3. Still haven't completed the Campaign, but in multi, I am just about to reach a 1.0 k/d in ranked (I was abysmal to begin with, and am crawling my way back from <.7, plus I play doubles with Scupper, so been going up against people upto lvl40, which doesn't help). I just got my first overkills and killing frenzies, and am hoping to make Major soon too. Plus I finally got around to getting skate, but not had a chance to play. By the time I get around to getting COD4, everyone else will prolly have moved on.

Xbox are supposed to be letting everyone download an arcade game for free as compensation, I just hope its not one I have already paid for. Here's hoping for puzzle quest.
