COD4: Best Wepon and Perks Combination

Not sure if everyone will want to divulge their 'trade secrets' but I'm interested in what weapon and perk combos people like. I've made a couple of Classes that I quite like but the one I seem to use most is:

SAW with Red Dot sight
Double Tap
Extra Steady Aim (whatever its called!)
Bandolier

Fire more, kill more! Doesn't seem to work too badly for me...

I'm a fan of:

Overkill (two primary weapons)

G36C with red dot sight for medium range
M16 with ACOG sight (for longer range)
2x RPG for choppers and grouped enemies
and martyrdom, as if i died, i might as well take someone with me.

But make sure you aim high, as headshots save bullets.

I used this a bit on shipment, you don't have to aim, just walk around the map holding down fire.

My hardcore setup...

P90 / Silencer

Stopping power
Extreme conditioning

Standard perks are decent: red-dot + 3x special grenades + stopping power + bullet penetration

Surely its all down to personal preference but these are my faves:

P90 with silencer or P90 with red-dot
Frag x3
Stopping power
Martyrdom

Barret .50cal
Overkill - P90
Frag x3
UAV Jammer

On Vacant and Wet work I like to use a silenced weapon, normally Uzi or P90, switch to the AK47 with silencer sometimes aswell.
RPG
Stopping power
Martyrdom

2x claymore (shit loads of kills on s&d )

I think overkill comes in at level 36.

The Golden guns are overrated. I did Prestige mode solely to get a golden gun and chose the LMGs as there was only 3. It took going through all of the game until about level 38 or 40 to get the 150 headshots for each. At the end though I got the M60E4 in Gold. Other reports have said that its the RPD you get, but maybe you get the gun that you are currently using to complete the challenge!

Anyway, in the description of the camoflage colour it just says 'Bling.' To be honest after using solely the LMGs so get to that point I am now so bored of them I can't be arsed to use the bling anyway...

It looks nice in 'real life' and its a shame there are no mirrors! However, if you swop it for another weapon on the ground it seemed to stay there for the whole match - other people can pick them up. There is a nice shiny graphics affect if you are bored enough to get close to it!
