Symbol on multiplayer halo, what does it mean?

When the teams have been sorted and your in the lobby, between the players name and their skill number some people have a dark grey-ish symbol. I dont know what it means though?

Thought it might be who the host is, but sometimes 2 or 3 people have it so dont think its that, can anyone enlighten me?

If it's what I think it is, it's because they're a member of bungie.net and choose to display the symbol.

The symbol will only show up against other players who are members of bungie.net. You wont see the symbol appear against your own name!

Sign in at bungie.net, then click on your name up in the top right. Then click "edit profile", then click "profile information". See the symbols at the bottom? Click "show".

You will see the symbol next time you play.

Don't think i can play halo any more, after all the Cod4 i've been playing, it seems too sedate

IMO, You aren't missing anything with the new maps - 2 aren't part of any of the heavily populated playlists, and in it's basic layout foundry really rewards camping.

Still in 2 minds about moving on to COD4 - still getting loads out of team doubles and lone wolves, and just started playing team slayer.
