Am I so glad now I didn't fork out upgrading my PC for one game, looks like Crysis is coming to the Pussthree.

"For technical reasons we hear an Xbox 360 version of Crysis isn’t in development"
lol
i smell BS
Both consoles (360 & ps3) exceed the minimum cpu requirements for the PC version, so it's not the CPU. The 360 GPU has more RAM available to it so its not the GPU either. The PC version came on a DVD9 too so its not down to limited capacity. I smell it too.lol

It is quoted from a Playstation magazine, so I'd take it with a pinch of salt, it is coming in one form or another though which is good news.
I wouldn't want to do that porting job, the pc version uses GIGS of ram, squeezing stuff down to fit on a measly 256mb will be a right 'mare. Reminds me of Orange box with its crap 16bit textures and awful frame rates [still a decent game mind].Edited by scorp on Friday 18th January 14:39

what is the frame rate of "the Orange Box" on the 360? 50fps
Between 1 and 30, it's sporadic, averages at i *guess* 15fps. It's a good example of a lazy port though, considering it uses much less texturing than say, Gears of war or Call of duty 4 and yet achieves lower and more inconsistent frame rates.Edited by scorp on Friday 18th January 15:00
