Xbox 360 repair times?

Right, my 360 went t1ts up on Thursday 17th Jan.
It was collected by UPS on Friday 18th Jan.
Finally 'appeared' at service centre on 23rd Jan.
Supposedly 'shipped to customer' on 25th Jan.
But I'm still here waiting for it?
That's 9 business days by my reckoning.
What's the average return time? Getting rather annoyed now.

Check further details on the XBox support site, it will give you a UPS number to check, shipped to customer on there means that they have provided UPS with the details and a date to pick it up (every Thursday as they pick them up in batches, so if it's fixed on a Friday it won't get picked up til the following Thursday). Once you get that UPS number, go online and check, I'm certain that it will say 'Billing Information Received'.It was collected by UPS on Friday 18th Jan.

So I guess it will go out this Thursday. Typical that mine got 'fixed' on a Friday!
Looks like I'll struggle to get it before next week now.

Yeah mine said shipped to customer on the Friday before new years, then NY-Day delayed the pickup by a day so it was picked up on the Friday, then I was out on the Monday when they dropped it round, so finally got it back on the Tuesday, by which time I was suffering from severe withdrawal symptoms.
Mine was gone for 14 days from collection to return, lot quicker than i expected, but still does not make it easy when you miss it.
i picked mine up from UPS as they tried to deliver it when wife was on school run, i was told i could not collect untill after 6 pm the following day from the depot as they had to send a message to have it taken off the del run, i asked why the delay, was told it was after 5 pm and to late to send a message, which i replied it is 4.55 mate, oh still to late.
So went straight down to depot anyway said here to pick up 360 and showed paperwork from on line and card left by driver, they said cool, heres your 360.
it was halo 3 launch day otherwise i would not have bothered.

when you played it tell us if it's any goodThe 'Midtown Madness' with crashes appealed. Graphically it looked stunning and based on some mates reviews, I thought it worth a punt.
Will give it a whizz tonight and will review accordingly
That's providing I can resist the lure of COD4 multiplayer though
ocks.Well, got it back (apparently motherboard and DVD replaced) and came with a month's Live Gold membership (whoop-de-do seeing as I pay by DD annually for it!).
Anyway, fired up Burnout Paradise and gave it a whizz - 3 hours later and still on it
Love the sense of freedom and the play area is vast (in game terms) seeing as there's no pauses for disk read whatsoever. Cars are varied and have notably different handling traits - graphically stunning and sound fx are good. Music score is BRILLIANT - but mainly because I was brought up on the likes of Faith no more and Twisted Sister Plenty of more contemporary stuff in there too though.
I've read several comments moaning that when you fail to win a race you can't re-do it - personally, I think this is a GOOD thing. It feels more real somehow. Rather than hitting 'X' to restart, you just mosey on to the next most local junction and have a go at that. This will frustrate those who try and get 100% achievements I guess, but I've never seen the appeal of that (nor do I have the time).
So, all in all, I'd give it 8.5/9 out of 10. Definitely a pick up, play for a bit, then shove back in the box only to get it out another day, type game
