Xbox minor issues

My Xbox now won't sign me in automatically - it used to but since it came back from repair I have to manually do it.

Also, sometimes it will not let me sign into Live - so I run the tests and it works fine. Why??

Could be m$ end and not yours. Ever since the xmas meltdown at m$, mines been a bit hitty/missy when trying to log in.

If you get the 'signing in' circular dots going round and round, its possible its them.

Go into your personal preferences and set Auto-sign-in to on.

As for sometimes not connecting to XBox live, doing the above might help, but most of the time it will be down to MS.

Bump this - I can now Auto sign in (thanks) - but to connect to XBL I have to close the game and 'test connection' each time!

This seemed to work for one guy..

"I changed my DNS settings in my network setup to "Manual" and actually entered the DNS servers from my internet provider. I got the IP addresses of my provider's DNS servers from viewing some of my router's info. When I was on automatic, the default was to use the router's IP address as the DNS server. After changing it to my provider's DNS server, I can sign in directly without testing first!! "

It works

I changed them to the OpenDNS settings and signs in now - cheers
