Problem with the PS3 online is its full with cheater using Auto Aimer and other things that make it impossible for non cheaters to do anything but get killed.

Be warned, the level of online play is a light year away from the difficulty of the missions.

There are some seriously good players out there, and even the average skill level of players around now is good. Stick with it though, once you learn the layout of the maps the game gets considerably easier. Don't be too hasty to get rid of the first gun you get either... its actually the best one in the game!

Add me as a friend - Justin_P and if I am around later join into some games, and Ill show you how its done!

Yeah, online players are VERY VERY VERY good, I can't play a game now where I finish with more kills than deaths, and I struggle to get 5-6 kills a match in free-for-all with 10-15 deaths.

Where are all the average players??

Thats the thing, the 'average' players are ones who bought the game when it first came out. If they are playing a bit a day or even an hour, the 'average' player demographic is one who still likes playing after this time and is therefor bloody good!

In comparison, compared to the couple of weeks after release and xmas where there was a bunch of new players, three months on there are not many noobs who have just bought the game, in fact almost none at all.

When I am playing something like Domination, I would say on average 80-90% are prestige players, with the majority on level 3 or above. It is pretty rare I will now get matched with players pre-prestige or just prestiged up.

Theres someone near the top of the leaderboard with 37days playing time, even giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming they have had it since November, that is still 1 month & 1 week playing cod4 in the last 4 1/2 months!

Do these people have no jobs hehe

Just noticed as well, the leaderboard for Kills, it goes up incrementally with most of the top ten having around about 149,000 kills. Then in 1st place is someone with over 2.1 million kills! 2 million more than 2nd place! Just unbelievable.

stuart, i remember hearing about Infinity Ward having some server problems a while back and people were able to hack in and change their stats. someone removed all deaths and loses from their stats.
