Picked up one of these today in Game for 69.99 but first impressions are a bit of a disappointment so looking for some advice incase I am missing something...

Playing Forza there is a lack of any actual "force feedback". The wheel just seems to spin fairly freely and whilst you can just feel a tiny bit of rumble when going over the gravel / edges it really is hardly noticable. All the reviews I noticed seemed to hype up the feedback so can anyone with one tell me what it should feel like please. Is there a way to beef up the feedback or have I got a duff one since I cant believe that it is supposed to be like this surely?

Ooops!!! idea
As you were.

Just realised that if the mains cable is plugged in the wheel is transformed into exactly what I expected. Suppose its not quite as wireless as I had thought tho.

how does it compare to a Driving force Pro?

i've got one for PC games but i'll like a wheel for my xbox forza 2 and the DFP won't work with the 360.

Funnily enough my mate has offered me his for £40. I've played it and its great. Is it compatible with the PC too? The missus may not be too pleased though, seeing as I have an old Ferrari one for my PC and a crap one for my 360. Cheers

Transformed all my driving games, Sega Rally, PGR4, Forza2. So much of a fab difference. Time for a Pro gamer seat now!! smile

The wheel itself when compared to the latest incarnations of PC wheel, G25 and Porsche turbo is pretty poor and no were near in terms of quality, function and ability to transform effects. Microsoft want to hog the market by having only their and the wheels they license for it's games.

Unfortunately, they are st.

In fairness, as much as i love Forza, i don't play it because of the wheel, where as i can use my G25 or porsche wheel with GT5 (stupid microsoft)
