Just popped my 360 cherry

Mrs Eltax splashed out and replaced my trusty old xbox with an xbox 360 last week for my birthday!

So, i'm currently addicted to Forza2, which came free with the console, and she knows i loved the previous versions of Fifa Street, so i have that to play with. I've pre-ordered GTA4 natuarally, but, what else is there to get from this 360 malarky?

Also, anyone know the latest on chipping these consoles? I presume it's been done, but is it mainstream and reliable yet? And what's the effect on xbox live with this?

You'll fall foul of the mods talking about chipping, but yeah it can be done.

I'll defer to people with greater knowledge and or fat friends in wifebeaters who run "mobile phone unlocking" shops, but as far as I know, you'll get locked out of XBL when the chip you use gets found by M$.

Assume you are online - grab COD4 and join in with those of us who play. There's a thread full of people's gamertags on here somewhere - used the interface at http://live.xbox.com to add people you know.

Oops - mods, please don't put me in the naughty corner! I shal never speak of it again. Now i really think about it, it makes sense that it's not the best place to discuss thos kind of things.

Careful with modding on live as I've heard of a guy who replaced his internal fan with a bigger one to prevent overheating, and he got banned from live, They knew because of the power the new fan was using!!
Feking big brother watching!

Furthermore "chipping" takes food off my table (as im a software developer), don't do it
